The Board of Directors has approved a bid from Till Roofing to replace the flat roof sections in the complex as well as inspect and make all necessary repairs to the sloped roofs in the complex. The project is scheduled to start on 9-18-2017. Please refer to the map included (link coming soon) to see where the project will start and is projected to end. The exterior homes will be done first and the interior homes done after that. The project is projected to last 30 work day. The flat roofs will have a new torch-down John Mansville “Apex” 4.5 mil and Bitumen membrane installed along with new edge metal flashings as needed. The sloped roofs will be inspected, cleaned and any missing, cracked or worn composition shingles will be repaired or replaced. All damaged edge metal will be replaced and all pipes, vents and flashings will be re-sealed with 50 year industrial sealants and painted to match color.
Owners will be notified by fliers up to 48 hours before your roof will be worked on. Please have pets secured in your home and plants moved off of your patio if you are concerned about their well-being. You will not need to move your vehicle from the side of your garage unless you want to. The roofers will have large plastic tarps to cover any areas that need it while doing their work. The work will, at times be loud and dirty. The crews will be cleaning up the work areas at the end of every day.
