Pool Renovation Update
Alan Smith Pool Plastering was on site to renovate our pool, spa, pump room and cabana. Work was scheduled to begin on March 21. Instead, the project was filled with delays. Wet weather delayed the demolition and re-plastering. Then the city inspector who was to come to approve the work, was unavailable for two weeks…on vacation. The underwater lights did not get installed due to a miscommunication with the vendor. Then after installation, the light enclosures leaked, so new lights had to be installed. Of course, city and county inspections were required after every step. Now, we are informed that since we will be adding shepherd’s hooks to the top of the wrought iron fencing for added security, we will need to update the main gate with a panic bar for egress in order to be up to code. We hope to have the additional wrought iron in place in the next 2 weeks. The good news is that most homeowners have picked up their pool passes from management. Those who haven’t can go in person with ID to Diversified Real Property Management Office 180 E. Main Street, Suite 101, Tustin, CA 92780.
